Yes. Open the match screen, pick Video, Audio or Text, and tap start. The only thing you’re asked for is your browser’s permission to use the camera or microphone, and only if the mode needs it. There’s no form before your first hello.

That’s deliberate. Most people want to know what a place is like before they hand over an email address, and the fastest way to find out is a conversation. The SalaChat home page is one tap from the match screen, so you can look around first or go straight in.

Skipping the account doesn’t mean skipping everything. Here’s the split.

We tried it as a guest, so this is what actually happens rather than a guess. As a guest you can start random matches in all three modes, scroll the online list, open people’s profiles and watch the video feed. When you tap Message on someone’s profile, SalaChat asks you to sign in first.

The same goes for anything that has to be saved: messages, the people you follow, and a coin balance you want to keep across devices. If a first chat goes well and you want to see that person again, that’s the moment an account starts to make sense.

Mostly, as far as names go. You don’t give a real name, an email or a phone number, and nothing on your screen tells the other person who you are. The part SalaChat can’t make anonymous is what your camera shows and what you say.

When you’ve met someone you want to talk to again. Following them, messaging them and calling them back from their profile all depend on SalaChat knowing it’s you next time. Without an account, the person you liked last night is just gone.

It’s as safe as the habits you bring. Guests get the same tools as everyone else: you can leave any chat at once, and Report and Block sit on every profile. Not having an account means there’s less of your information on the site in the first place.

If someone bothers you, don’t stay to argue. End the chat, open their profile, and report them with the reason that fits, then block them, which makes it harder for them to contact you.
